Maroochydore Road Bridge

Abyss Demolition was engaged to remove the old Maroochydore Road Interchange overbridge as part of the Bruce Highway Upgrade Program. The project required the highway traffic to be diverted for the duration of the demolition with Abyss only having 60 hours to complete the works. With alternate crews running back-to-back shifts, the project was completed on-time, safely, and with no damage to the roads.
