Demolition Works at in a Live Hospital Environment

Abyss Demolition was contracted to demolish a large section of the Cairns Hospital, to make way for their improved Mental Health Facility. This included sections of the hospital that would provide new access ways into the new structure.

Key aspects

• Minimising disruption to the Hospital and its surroundings, respecting the live Hospital Environment
• Demolish multi-structure section of the Hospital
• Create new openings in the existing structure, to connect to the new build
